On the morning of October 18, State Grid Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd. and Hengyang Municipal People’s Government held a signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement. From 2019 to 2022, Hengyang plans to invest in 95 35-800 kV projects. Among them, 88.9 kilometers of ±800kV lines were newly built, 2 new 500kV substations, 9 new 220kV substations, 4 expansions, 22 new 110kV substations, 9 expansions, and 3 new 35kV substations. , 9 buildings were expanded, 1,812 rural power grid renovation and upgrading projects were completed, and about 28,226 kilometers of medium and low voltage distribution lines were newly built or renovated, laying a solid foundation for the development of Hengyang’s “14th Five-Year Plan” power grid.

Zheng Jianxin pointed out that in recent years, Hengyang has vigorously implemented the “3311” project plan to revitalize the real economy and the industrial in-situ doubling plan. The project construction in full swing has led to a substantial increase in electricity consumption. In the first three quarters of this year, the city’s total social electricity consumption hit a record high, with a cumulative increase of 10.1%, ranking second in the province in both total volume and growth rate. Among them, industrial electricity consumption increased by 8.8%, ranking first in the province. At present, Hengyang is moving forward to accelerate the construction of a veritable provincial sub-center city and the most beautiful prefecture-level city. The demand for electricity is increasing and the quality of power supply is getting higher and higher. The State Grid Provincial Electric Power Company is vigorously promoting the construction of “three types and two networks”, and is striving to create an energy Internet ecology with joint consultation and win-win results, which makes the cooperation between the two parties contain huge development potential and broad space prospects.
